National Song
Besides national anthem there are some songs which instigate our feelings and fill us with pride. Many of them are very very popular.
They are informal songs but very important. They touch our hearts.
One of them is our national song ‘Vande Mataram...’. It is a part of the novel called ‘Anandmath’ written by Bankim Chandra. The song spells out the glorious beauty of our land and salutes the motherland. This song inspired many during our freedom struggle.
‘Saare Jahan Se Achchha...’ is a famous and popular song that every child likes to sing and elders want to hear. The song tells us the greatness of our country and our people.
‘Aao Bachcho Tumhen Dikhayan Jhanki Hindustan Ki...’ is yet another popular song adopted from a patriotic movie. It describes the multicoloured landscape and regions of our country in a poetry form.
