On December 25, each year Christmas (X-mas) is celebrated all over the world. It is the biggest event of the Christian calendar.

It was the day when Jesus Christ was born more than two thousand years ago. The famous Christmas spirit takes over all faithfuls. They forget old grudges and forgive everyone.

Each Christian household is brightly decorated and Christmas tree set up. Presents are exchanged. The children get loaded with very attractive presents. During Christmas, Santa Claus can be seen almost everywhere talking to children and distributing gifts.

Christmas carols are sung in homes and the Churches with gusto and dedication. In Christmas parties people wish ‘Merry Christmas’ to each other, sing, dance and feast.

Faithfuls attend church prayers and bells toll at midnight to announce the beginning of the day of Lord.
