Some students are good at studies and some are good at games. I am one of the most brilliant students of my school who is considered good both in studies as well as sports.

I am the captain of the Athletic Team of my school. We celebrate sports day in February every year. This year our chief guest was the Sports Secretary of the state.

The chief guest unfurled the flag. He was introduced to the athletes. The sports began with the 100 meter race. There were other races also. The names of those who stood first, second and third were announced on the loud-speaker.

After this, there were the long jump and high jump events. I stood first in high jump also. I was congratulated by my friends and teachers. Then there were shot put, hammer throw and many other events. The chief guest distributed the prizes to the winners. I was declared the best athlete of the year. I won five medals. Our Principal thanked the chief guest.
