Rene Theophile Hyacinthe Laennec coloring page
Rene-Theophile-Hyacinthe Laennec was a French physician. He was born at Quimper in France on 17 February 1781. In 1816, he invented the stethoscope during working at the Hospital Necker and founded its use in diagnosing several chest situations.
In 1822 he appointed as lecturer at the College de France. In 1823, he became professor of medicine. His last activities were that of the Chief of the Medical Clinic at the Hospital de la Charity and Professor at the College of France. He gave vast knowledge and a very good experiment to the medical industry. He also studied on tuberculosis, developed the understanding of peritonitis and cirrhosis. The modern binaural stethoscope with two ear piece was invented by the Arthur Leared in 1851. In the beginning all the doctors appreciated the use of stethoscope but day by day stethoscope became popular among all of them. He died due to tuberculosis on 13 August, 1826.
