When it comes the turn of Moral & Inspirational stories it is impossible to forget the stories from the Panchatantra.  Perhaps stories of the Panchatantra are the oldest stories known in the literature of India. These tales are attributed to scholar Vishnu Sharma. In course of time, travellers took these stories with them to Persia and Arabia and finally through Greece, they reached Europe. The Panchatantra stories are rare, because nowhere you will find philosophy, psychology, politics, music, astronomy, human relationship, etc, all discussed together in such a simple and elegant style.
