Centaur Coloring Pages
According to Greek mythology, the Centaurs were the offspring of Ixion and a cloud. These mystical creatures had the head, arm and chest of a man but the legs and lower half were of a horse. In some mythical stories they had horns and wings also. Centaurs were kind, hospitable, sporting, generous and wise, but they had some faults also that caused their downfall. Centaurs lived on Mount Pelion, and they were closely associated with Dionysus, the Greek god of wine and revelry.
